The week of Jan. 3rd- spent 3 hours on girls camp, searching out opportunities, PTA stuff, working on blankets for United Way.
Jan 10th week- temple, making humanitarian kits, blankets for the linus project, Windsor PTA meeting, Timp High PTA meeting. family night service- making humanitarian kits for Haiti.
Jan. 17th- made lunch bunch lunch, finished humantarian kits, finished blankets, girls camp. organized PTA treasurer books, made cookies for Norma and visited her.
ReplyDeleteJan. 30- PTA treasurer stuff, sold tickets at the high school battle of the bands, delivered humanatarian kits and linus project blankets, visit taught my 3 sisters, worked on planning girls camp and attended camp workshop.

besides that it was a slow service week but I'm glad I took time out to be with Steph and her kids this week.
this week I took my girls and her friends to a weekend away in Ogden!
ReplyDeleteI made homemade treats for all my visiting teaching people and went visit teaching.
I worked on girls camp for a little while.
I wrote a nice note and gave a tip to my awesome ski teacher.
These past few weeks I went visit teaching again. Worked at the school, Attended 2 PTA meetings, participated in the school fundraiser, balanced the books for the high school and windsor. Worked for the football booster club. I am going to help with team dinners this year and set up a garage sale. I also volunteered to work in the snack shack. We just volunteered for city baseball too. Hopefully Scott will coach again and I'll be the team mommy. I have been working on girls camp on and off. I feel like I haven't really reached out to do anything original or out of my bounds for a while. Hopefully this will be the month.
ReplyDeleteMy service is usually the same every month. I'm only going to post the different things I do. I think I'm in a pretty great place of servng at least 10 hours a week.
